Our Commitment to Sustainability
Caring for the environment is a core part of who we are. Over the years, we’ve made meaningful changes to our operations to significantly reduce our environmental impact — and we’re just getting started.
What We've Implemented
- 100% LED Lighting:
Our entire restaurant is illuminated by over 300 LED lights, reducing our lighting energy usage by approximately 75%.
- High-Efficiency Equipment:
We've upgraded to energy-efficient appliances, cutting our overall electricity consumption by 22.5%.
- Recycled Paper Bags:
All takeout and leftover orders are packaged in 100% recycled paper bags, eliminating the use of more than 18,750 plastic bags annually.
- Eco-Friendly Containers:
We use containers made from sugarcane fiber — 100% biodegradable, compostable, and free from PFAS or dyes. This change has removed over 15,600 plastic containers from circulation each year.
- Sustainable Paper Towels:
Our hand towels are made from 100% recycled fiber and are FSC Certified. We go through approximately 158,000 towels each year, all sustainably sourced.
- Agave Fiber Straws:
We've replaced plastic straws with biodegradable straws made from agave fibers, cutting out over 39,000 plastic straws annually.
- Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products:
We've increased our use of environmentally safe cleaning products, helping to reduce pollution in both water and air.
- Water Conservation:
Our restrooms are equipped with touchless faucets and high-efficiency toilets to minimize water use.
Looking Ahead
We’re committed to continuing this journey. In the coming years, we plan to introduce even more sustainable practices, with the ultimate goal of achieving a carbon-neutral operation.
